I apologize for my absence yesterday. Monday came wayyy too fast for me. I spent Sunday evening at a 2 year old’s birthday party and I woke up feeling like I had partied with a bunch of 22 year olds. It was like a hangover mixed with the feeling you get the day after a tough workout. I just hope I burned some calories.
On top of all that babysitting fun, I spent the weekend and yesterday getting ready for the launch of my new business: Currently Coveting by JerrellRenee. I could not be more excited to share it with you all later this week. I really think you’re going to love it. But for now, I’m still registering things, ordering things, opening things, and the rest. It’s only been a short time, but I already realize how much work being a business-owner is. I haven’t even earned a penny, but I’m already SO proud of myself. Proud for coming up with an idea and seeing it through. For being a self-starter. For having courage. For focusing on every little detail and working even when I’m supposed to be “off.” I’m proud to be a 25 year old female business owner.
I’m just proud. Does anyone ever say that anymore?
Anyway, I’m off to knock a few more things off my to do list. Hope your week is off to a fantastic start!
