I found an apartment!! It’s gorgeous, brand new and waiting for me to fill it up with lots of beautiful things. I can’t even believe I found one this fast. I move on June 15th so I only have 3 weeks to pack, order new furniture and get settled. Oh and p.s. I’m going on vacation that weekend. This is gonna be fun!
I chose a studio apartment that’s really spacious, but I still need to get creative with the layout. And I’m also planning to paint and hang lots of pictures and art to make it feel like home. So…basically I’ll be reading design magazines and pinning home decor pictures for the next 3 weeks.
I would love to hear any and all ideas you guys have. Have any of you ever lived in a studio or small apartment? How did you divide the room? Sudan and I found a beautiful, yet comfy silvery-gray couch yesterday, so I’m working with that as my base color. What colors work best with that?

So many color choices! I think I’m leaning towards something like the first picture. I love the mix of the gray, white and gold. Decisions, decisions!

I have a studio! I love it! At first I was hesitant about the lack of space but it really isn’t that bad. I looked at the largest expedit ikea shelf to divide the space. (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/70196428/) It has storage and is large enough to be a sort of wall. You can put your law books, frames and everything on it!
