Good morning loves! Just wanted to stop in really quickly to tell you how awesome today is. Not only is today the first day of my lease (yayy!), I’m also headed to Charlotte with my family to visit my brother, celebrate Father’s Day and my mom’s birthday (which is pretty much a National Holiday in my family).
It’s really funny that these two things are happening on the same day because I’ve been thinking a lot about the move and everything that’s changing in my life. And I’ve reallllly been missing my brother. His wedding is coming up and I was thinking about it the other day in the car and started crying. I’m so happy for him, but it’s a little bittersweet. I miss the days when we looked like this:
But pretty soon, we’ll have kids of our own. And we’ll be able to dress them in silly clothes with adorable ballerina buns on the tops of their heads. And we’ll bring them to each other’s houses to play every weekend. And who knows? That might be even better than the memories I’m holing onto.
