Tomorrow is my first full day off in two weeks. FOURTEEN DAYS. I can’t even believe that. Needless to say, I’m extremely excited about this long weekend. This afternoon, I’m getting off work early to get my hair and nails done. Then tomorrow I have a full errand day planned, with a short break in the middle because Sudan scheduled a massage appointment for me. On his own. Without even a hint. Just because he knows how exhausted I am. I’m sorry to brag, but come on. Wouldn’t you?
Anyway..on Sunday, I’m headed to Atlantic City for the opening of Revel and the Queen Bey concert!!! After the 2 weeks I’ve had, I thought about skipping it and giving my ticket away. Thankfully, I woke up and realized that it’s Beyoncé. This will be my 6th (or 7th?) time seeing her in concert and it truly never gets old.
So the question is…what should I wear? Opening weekend at a gorgeous resort in Atlantic city with my mom, two of her fabulous girlfriends and Beyoncé. It’s gotta be glam, but more rockstar than movie star glam. And more functional than anything. This is what that looks like in my brain:
Equipment blouse (hopefully I can find a less expensive version of this), Christian Louboutin Metal Capped loafers (got these Mother’s Day weekend and I’ve been dyinggg to wear them), T by Alexander Wang Chambray Skinny Pants (I really hope I can find these before Sunday without having to pay $2975208 for overnight shipping), Zara leather jacket (I have a million-year-old leather jacket, but I love this one from Zara) and Thakoon for NARS Amchoor Nail Polish (because I need a pop of color and I’m obsessed with yellow nail polish).
I am too excited! This is gonna be a fabulous weekend. What are you guys doing for the Holiday? Anyone going to the beach? Anyone else coming to Atlantic City?
