Highlights.

Why do I feel like I haven’t done a highlights post in forever? I could write a million words about all that’s happened in the past few weeks but I’ll try to keep it short. Try.

:: Jared (baby brother) signed with the Carolina Panthers last Saturday and my entire family is superrrr excited. I’ve been a Redskins fan for 25 (almost 26!) years, and I always will be, but my brother’s team is #1 now. Stocking up on a bunch of black and blue t-shirts/accessories! Team Green all the way baby!

:: My dad was inducted into the DC Sports Hall of Fame. Obviously I’m excited for my dad, but I might be equally excited because the ceremony will take place at the Washington Nationals game on Sunday. And despite going to hundreds of football games in my life, this will be my first baseball game…ever. Apologies in advance to the boyfriend who will have to answer all of my questions.

:: I’m the world’s worst blogger and in the craziness of finals/the NFL draft/having a million family members in the house all weekend, I completely forgot about my beautiful blog’s 1st birthday! (It was on April 27th) I cannot believe it’s been a whole year. I went from a strictly running blogger to a fashion/style blogger with lots of other things on the side and I am loving it. I am so grateful for each and every person who reads my blog. This time last year I was afraid to even share my blog and now I have so many encouraging and loyal readers. It means so much to hear/read your comments. I have so many ideas for this coming year and cannot wait for Summer to start so I can blog my little heart out. Please let me know what you would like to see more of. I have a few ideas but I’m always open to more! Thank you thank you thank you for reading!

and lastly…

:: Today is the last day of my 2L year of law school. It’s a really weird feeling because I’m at the point in my law school career where I’m unsure of what lies ahead. I know I want to graduate, but that’s as far as it goes. I’m confused about what kind of law I want to practice, what kind of firm I want to practice in and if I even want to be a lawyer at all. I need this break so badly just to clear my head and focus on the things that I’m truly passionate about. This is also the last time I’ll ever get to say the words “Summer break” when referring to myself. And I plan to take advantage of every moment of it.
