Beauty Binge.

I’ve been surveying my makeup collection lately, and while I have a lot of products, I was missing a few key items. So what did I do? I went to Nordstrom, duh!

I knew going in that I was looking for a loose powder, foundation stick and concealer, and I wanted them to come from Bobbi Brown. It has been SO hard for me to find tinted moisturizers and foundations that match my skin tone perfectly. I’ve found some that work, but only one or two that make my skin look amazing. Until I discovered Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick in Warm Almond. Life. Changed. This shade completely brightened up my complexion and it’s perfect for my everyday makeup look.

I also picked up the Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish Loose Powder in Basic Brown. I already wear the pressed powder version and I love it because it doesn’t make my skin look ashy. So many beauty brands only make light or translucent powders and a lot of them make dark skin look ashy. Thankfully Bobbi Brown has a pretty wide range of colors and they actually complement your skin. I highly recommend both versions of this product.

The Makeup Artist also helped me pick the right concealer for under my eyes. I already use the Bobbi Brown Touch Up Stick and the NARS Immaculate Complexion Concealer on blemishes, but before Monday, I hadn’t found a good concealer for my dark circles and sleepy eyes. The Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit is so perfect for the under eye area. It comes in a wide range of colors and the kit includes a setting powder. Don’t be afraid of the yellow-toned setting powder. I don’t know how, but it works.

Just to be sure that I gave the entire cosmetics section equal love, I also picked up a MAC eyebrow pencil in Stud and a new La Mer Lip Balm before I left. You know, just in case I hadn’t already spent the bulk of my last paycheck, I figured I’d finish it off.

What are your latest beauty buys? Do you use any of the products I bought? If so, what do you think of them?

Good stuff! My last buy was MAC Ruby Woo lipstick and I love the color. I also do use the Mac Brow Pencil and am so thankful for it every morning I use it LOL I have been wanting to look into the Bobbi Brown line and now I will :)
